Big Brother (Greek TV series) season 2

Big Brother (Greek TV series) season 2 was the second season of the Greek reality television show Big Brother, based on the Endemol franchise. It aired on ANT1 from September 2002 to December 2002. Like the first season, contestants, known as housemates, lived together in a specially constructed house, isolated from the outside world. They were continuously monitored by television cameras and personal audio microphones. The aim of the game was to remain in the house for as long as possible by avoiding eviction.

Eviction votes were cast by viewers via telephone, SMS, and internet. Each week, housemates would nominate other housemates for eviction. The housemates with the most nominations would face the public vote. The housemate receiving the most votes would be evicted.

The winner of the season received a cash prize and other benefits. While viewership was strong, the season was also subject to considerable media scrutiny and criticism, as was the first season, regarding the perceived exploitative nature of the format and the behavior of some housemates. The season showcased a new set of housemates, with various backgrounds and personalities, living in the Big Brother house, participating in challenges and forming relationships with each other. The season's host was again, Andreas Mikroutsikos. The ultimate winner of Big Brother 2 was Alexandra Nikolaidou.
