Big Boi

Big Boi (born Antwan André Patton on February 1, 1975) is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor, best known as one half of the acclaimed hip hop duo Outkast, alongside André 3000.

Big Boi's career began in the early 1990s in Atlanta, Georgia, where he met André 3000. Their collaboration as Outkast revolutionized the landscape of Southern hip hop, blending funk, soul, and experimental sounds with insightful lyrics and distinctive flows. Outkast achieved widespread commercial success and critical acclaim with albums such as ATLiens, Aquemini, Stankonia, and Speakerboxxx/The Love Below.

Beyond Outkast, Big Boi has cultivated a successful solo career. His debut album, Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty, was released in 2010 and was praised for its musicality and lyrical complexity. He followed up with Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors (2012) and Boomiverse (2017), further solidifying his reputation as a versatile and innovative artist.
