Beethoven (TV series)

Beethoven is the name of two separate television series based on the Beethoven film franchise.

The first, Beethoven, is a 1994-1995 animated television series loosely based on the 1992 film Beethoven and its 1993 sequel, Beethoven's 2nd. The series follows the adventures of the titular Saint Bernard dog, Beethoven, and the Newton family. Episodes typically revolve around Beethoven's antics and his relationships with the family members, particularly the children Ryce, Ted, and Emily. The series aimed for comedic and light-hearted stories suitable for a young audience. The series ran for one season and was produced by Universal Cartoon Studios and Northern Lights Entertainment.

The second, Beethoven, is a 2014 live-action television series broadcast on Hulu. This series consists of six episodes and features a similar premise to the films, with Beethoven, the Saint Bernard, causing chaos and forming strong bonds with the Newton family. This version focused on the family's move from the city to the countryside and the adjustments they had to make, with Beethoven playing a central role in their experiences.
