Bagguley
Bagguley is a suburban area and electoral ward within the Wythenshawe district of Manchester, England. Historically part of Cheshire, it is located approximately 8 miles (13 km) south of Manchester city centre.
Bagguley is primarily a residential area, consisting mainly of post-war housing estates. It is situated close to Manchester Airport and has good transport links to the city centre and surrounding areas via bus routes and the Manchester Metrolink.
The area is served by local amenities including shops, schools, and parks. It is also near the larger shopping and leisure facilities available in Wythenshawe town centre.
Bagguley Hall, a historic manor house, formerly stood in the area, lending its name to the modern suburb. The hall was a significant building in the region's history, although little remains of it today.
The electoral ward of Bagguley includes the area itself and surrounding parts of Wythenshawe. It is represented by local councillors who are responsible for local government matters.
