Asman Airlines

Asman Airlines was a privately owned airline based in Kabul, Afghanistan. It operated scheduled domestic passenger services as well as international flights to destinations within the Middle East and Asia.

The airline was established in 2009 and ceased operations in 2019. It was known for connecting Kabul with various provincial capitals within Afghanistan, which were often underserved by other airlines. The fleet primarily consisted of Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Asman Airlines aimed to provide affordable air travel options for Afghan citizens and contribute to the development of the country's aviation sector. However, like many Afghan airlines, it faced challenges related to security concerns, infrastructure limitations, and regulatory uncertainties. The reasons for its eventual closure are publicly attributed to financial difficulties compounded by these pre-existing challenges.
