Andy Todd (footballer, born 1979)
Andy Todd (born 21 September 1979) is an English former professional footballer. Primarily a defender, he could play at centre-back or right-back.
Todd began his career at Middlesbrough, making his debut in 1995. He spent time on loan at Swindon Town before establishing himself in the Middlesbrough first team. In 2000, he moved to Bolton Wanderers, where he played for seven years, becoming a key part of their Premier League team under manager Sam Allardyce. During his time at Bolton, he enjoyed UEFA Cup football.
After leaving Bolton in 2007, Todd joined Blackburn Rovers. He later had spells at Derby County, Northampton Town, Perth Glory in Australia, Oldham Athletic, and Hereford United. He retired from professional football in 2013.
Since retiring, Todd has moved into coaching, holding positions at clubs including Bradford City.
