Andreas Voss (footballer)

Andreas Voss (born March 12, 1962) is a German former professional footballer who played as a defender.

Voss spent the majority of his career with Bayer 04 Leverkusen. He joined the club in 1979 and played there until 1994. During his time at Leverkusen, he was a key member of the squad that won the UEFA Cup in 1988, defeating Espanyol in the final. He also won the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) with Leverkusen in 1993.

Voss was known for his consistent defensive performances and his reliability. He was a versatile player, capable of playing in various positions across the back line. He made over 300 Bundesliga appearances for Bayer Leverkusen.

After leaving Leverkusen in 1994, Voss played for Fortuna Düsseldorf for one season before retiring from professional football.
