Kate Ellis (author)
Kate Ellis is a British crime fiction author, best known for her series of novels featuring DI Wesley Peterson and archaeologist Neil Watson.
Born in Liverpool, England, Ellis is a member of the Crime Writers' Association and the Detection Club. She has a degree in education and has held various jobs, including teaching and working in a library, experiences that often influence her writing.
Her DI Wesley Peterson series, which began with The Merchant's House in 1998, is set in Devon and explores contemporary crimes interwoven with historical mysteries, often involving archaeological discoveries.
