343rd Squadron (HAF)

The 343rd Squadron (HAF) is a fighter squadron of the Hellenic Air Force (HAF). Its primary role is air defense. The squadron is based at Nea Anchialos Air Base (also known as the 111th Combat Wing) in Volos, Greece. The squadron is equipped with F-16C/D Block 50 Fighting Falcon aircraft. The 343rd Squadron participates in national and NATO exercises, maintaining a high level of operational readiness. It contributes to the air policing mission within Greek airspace and participates in international cooperative efforts.
