2001 Sparkassen Cup (tennis)

The 2001 Sparkassen Cup was a women's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was held in Leipzig, Germany, and was part of the Tier II category of the 2001 WTA Tour. The tournament ran from September 24 to September 30, 2001. Kim Clijsters won the singles title, defeating Magdalena Maleeva in the final. The doubles title was won by Elena Likhovtseva and Nathalie Tauziat, who defeated Květa Hrdličková and Barbara Rittner in the final. The tournament featured a 28-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles draw. It was one of the final events leading up to the WTA Championships that year.
