18th Street station (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line)
The 18th Street station is a local station on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at the intersection of 18th Street and Seventh Avenue in Manhattan, it is served by the 1 train at all times, and the 2 train during late nights.
The station has two side platforms serving two tracks. The platforms are typical for local stations on the IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line, being relatively narrow. The station's tile work is characteristic of the original IRT subway stations.
The primary entrance is located at street level at the northeast corner of 18th Street and Seventh Avenue. There is also an exit-only stairway to the southeast corner. The station is not ADA-accessible.
Nearby points of interest include the Flatiron Building, located a few blocks to the north, and Union Square, located several blocks to the south.
