145th Street station (IND lines)

The 145th Street station is a New York City Subway station complex shared by the IND Eighth Avenue Line and the IND Concourse Line. Located at the intersection of 145th Street and St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan, it is served by the A and D trains at all times, and the C train at all times except late nights.

The complex consists of two separate stations, one for each IND line, connected by a free transfer passageway. The Eighth Avenue Line station is situated deeper underground than the Concourse Line station.

The Eighth Avenue Line station has four tracks and two side platforms. The express tracks are used by the A train during the day and the D train at all times.

The Concourse Line station also has four tracks and two island platforms. The outer tracks are typically used by the D train, while the inner tracks are used by the C train.

Both stations feature artwork as part of the MTA Arts & Design program. The 145th Street complex provides important connections within Harlem and access to various local businesses and community resources.
