Óscar López (Colombian footballer)
Óscar López (born April 2, 1939) is a retired Colombian football defender and manager.
López primarily played as a central defender and was a key member of the Colombian national team during the 1960s. He represented Colombia at the 1962 FIFA World Cup in Chile, featuring in all three of Colombia's group stage matches.
At the club level, López played for several prominent Colombian teams, including Deportivo Cali and Millonarios. He was known for his strong tackling and leadership qualities.
Following his playing career, López transitioned into coaching. He managed various clubs in Colombia, including Deportivo Cali, Atlético Nacional, and América de Cali.
