Winter Rose (novel)

Winter Rose is a historical romance novel written by Jennifer Donnelly, published in 2006. It is the second book in The Rose Trilogy, preceded by The Tea Rose and followed by Wild Rose.

The novel is set in London, England, in 1900 and tells the story of India Selwyn-Jones, a doctor practicing in the city's East End. India is dedicated to helping the poor and downtrodden. She becomes entangled in the lives of Sid Malone, a former dockworker and union leader, and Harry Coombes, a wealthy and enigmatic businessman.
