Windaria
Windaria is a tragic fantasy anime film released in 1986, also known as Once Upon a Time. It was produced by Kaname Productions and animated by I.G. Tatsunoko. The film depicts a war between two kingdoms, Isa and Paro, and the futility of conflict, portraying the devastating impact on innocent lives and the moral complexities of war.
The story follows the character Izu, a young peasant caught between the warring nations. As the conflict escalates, he becomes entangled in the ambitions and destructive paths of the leaders, as well as the machinations of a mysterious sword called Windaria.
