Willie Wilson (drummer)
Willie Wilson is a British drummer and musician, best known for his work with Syd Barrett, Cochise, and Quiver. He was a member of Syd Barrett's backing band Stars, performing with Barrett in Cambridge in 1972.
Wilson's early career saw him drumming for the blues-rock band Cochise in the early 1970s. Following Cochise, he joined Quiver, a country-rock band that later merged with the Sutherland Brothers to become the Sutherland Brothers & Quiver.
In addition to his work with these groups, Wilson has also worked as a session musician and toured with numerous other artists. He is known for his versatility and skill across various musical genres. His discography includes albums with each of the aforementioned bands, as well as appearances on albums by other artists.
