William Fletcher (rower)

William Fletcher (born circa 1887, date of death unknown) was a British rower who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics.

Fletcher was a member of the Leander Club eight, which won the gold medal. The crew included Collier Cudmore, James Angus Gillan, Duncan Mackinnon, John Somers-Smith, Beaucourt Angell, Ewart Horsfall, and Henry Bucknall, with Albert Gladstone as cox. Not much is known about his life outside of his participation in the Olympics. His name is sometimes listed as "W. Fletcher" in Olympic records.
