Andrija Balić

Andrija Balić (born August 11, 1997) is a Croatian professional footballer who primarily plays as a central midfielder.

Balić began his professional career with Hajduk Split in Croatia's Prva HNL, making his debut in 2014. He quickly gained attention for his technical skills and playmaking abilities.

In February 2016, Balić transferred to Udinese in the Italian Serie A. He spent several seasons with Udinese, often being loaned out to other clubs in Italy and abroad to gain more playing experience. These loan spells included stints at Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands and Perugia in Serie B.

Over the course of his career, Balić has also represented Croatia at various youth international levels.

His playing style is characterized by his vision, passing range, and ability to dictate the tempo of the game. He is often deployed as a deep-lying playmaker or central midfielder.
