Watermark (band)
Watermark was a contemporary Christian music (CCM) band formed in 1998 by husband and wife duo Christy and Charlie LeBlanc. They were originally based in Nashville, Tennessee.
The band gained prominence through their blend of pop sensibilities with spiritually-themed lyrics. Christy LeBlanc served as the primary vocalist, while Charlie LeBlanc played multiple instruments and contributed to the songwriting and production.
Watermark released several albums throughout their career, including Watermark (1999), All Things New (2000), and The God I Know (2002). These albums produced several popular singles that charted on Christian radio. Their music often explored themes of faith, hope, and redemption.
In addition to their studio albums, Watermark also released Christmas-themed albums.
Watermark disbanded in 2006 as Christy and Charlie LeBlanc pursued separate musical endeavors. Christy LeBlanc continued a solo career in CCM, while Charlie LeBlanc focused on songwriting and production for other artists. Despite their disbandment, their music continues to be played and enjoyed by fans of contemporary Christian music.
