Thomas Goode (1827-1902) was a prominent pastoralist in South Australia, best known for his extensive land holdings and contributions to the development of the state's pastoral industry.

Born in England, Goode emigrated to South Australia in 1849. He initially worked in various agricultural pursuits before entering the pastoral industry. Through shrewd investment and management, he acquired significant properties, including Koonoona, a major sheep station in the mid-north of South Australia, near Burra. Koonoona became renowned for its high-quality merino wool production.

Goode was a leading figure in pastoral circles, serving on committees and boards related to the industry. He was actively involved in improving sheep breeding and promoting best practices in land management. He invested in infrastructure such as dams and fencing to enhance the carrying capacity and sustainability of his properties.
