Walter Müller (footballer, born 1970)

Walter Müller (born 25 June 1970) is a retired Austrian professional footballer who played as a defender.

Müller spent the majority of his career playing in Austria's top leagues. He began his professional career with SV Austria Salzburg, where he was a squad member but didn't feature heavily. He then moved to lower division clubs before establishing himself as a regular player in the Austrian Bundesliga with FC Linz. He went on to play for LASK Linz and SV Ried, spending several seasons with each club.

Müller was known for his solid defensive play and versatility, being able to play in multiple positions across the back line. He retired from professional football in the early 2000s. Following his playing career, he has been involved in coaching at the amateur level.
