WMH (1921–1923)
WMH was a radio call sign assigned to a broadcast station licensed to the Precision Equipment Company in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, from 1921 to 1923. The station was among the earliest wave of formally licensed broadcasting stations in the U.S., following the U.S. Department of Commerce's establishment of regulations for radio broadcasting. Little documentation survives regarding WMH's programming or operational details. The station's license was voluntarily surrendered in 1923, likely due to the increasing regulatory burdens and competition in the nascent radio industry. It represents a small, and now largely forgotten, part of early American radio broadcasting history.
