Vivatel
Vivatel was a telecommunications company operating in Bulgaria. It provided mobile phone services, as well as fixed-line telephony and internet access. Founded in 2005, Vivatel quickly became a significant player in the Bulgarian telecommunications market, known for its competitive pricing and innovative service offerings.
In 2007, Vivatel was acquired by the Bulgarian businessman Spas Roussev. Over the subsequent years, ownership transitioned through various entities.
In 2011, Vivatel rebranded as Vivacom, which stands for Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (BTC). This rebranding marked a significant shift in the company's identity and strategy. Under the Vivacom brand, the company continued to offer a broad range of telecommunications services to both residential and business customers in Bulgaria. As Vivacom, it remains a major player in the Bulgarian telecommunications industry, offering mobile, fixed-line, internet, and television services. The Vivatel name is no longer in use.
