Uhogua
Uhogua is a town located in Edo State, Nigeria. It is situated within the Ovia Northeast Local Government Area. Uhogua is known primarily as the location of the "IDP Camp Uhogua," an internally displaced persons camp. This camp houses individuals and families displaced by the Boko Haram insurgency and other conflicts in northern Nigeria. The camp provides shelter, food, education, and vocational training to its residents, aiming to rehabilitate and reintegrate them into society. Uhogua itself is a relatively small and developing community, significantly impacted by the presence of the IDP camp and the humanitarian efforts associated with it.
