Topčider

Topčider is a park and urban neighborhood located in Belgrade, Serbia. It is situated about 6 kilometers south of the city center, on the right bank of the Topčider River.

History and Significance: Topčider Park is one of the oldest and most historically significant parks in Belgrade. It was established in 1831 by Prince Miloš Obrenović, who also built his residence (Konak Kneza Miloša) within the park. The park was conceived as a representative space for the newly autonomous Principality of Serbia. The Konak, which is still standing and open to the public, served as Prince Miloš's administrative and residential center.
