Tommy Leigh (footballer, born 2000)

Tommy Leigh (born 24 December 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Accrington Stanley.

Career

Leigh began his career in the youth academy of Burnley. He later joined Marine, where he gained first-team experience. He signed for Accrington Stanley in July 2021. He made his professional debut for Accrington Stanley in a 2–1 EFL Cup win over Rotherham United on 10 August 2021. Leigh quickly established himself as a regular in the Accrington Stanley squad, known for his energetic performances and combative style of play.
