Ridgewell began uploading videos to YouTube in 2006. His content initially focused on vlogs and comedic skits, but he gained wider recognition with the creation of asdfmovie in 2008. This series, characterized by its short length, rapid-fire jokes, and simple animation style, quickly became a viral sensation.
