Jose Trevino (baseball)

Jose Trevino (born November 5, 1992) is an American professional baseball catcher for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Trevino was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the sixth round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. He made his MLB debut with the Rangers in 2018 and played for them until 2022 when he was traded to the New York Yankees.

Known for his strong defensive skills, Trevino won the American League Platinum Glove Award and a Gold Glove Award in 2022. He is also recognized for his offensive abilities, particularly his clutch hitting and ability to handle a pitching staff. His jersey number is 39.
