Tom Arden
Tom Arden (born Thomas William Ashworth, 1961 – 2002) was a British author, best known for his fantasy novels, particularly the Orokon series. He also wrote under the pseudonym Daniel Quinn.
Arden's Orokon series, comprising The Harlequin's Mask, The King and Queen of Swords, The Liar's Apocalypse, and The World of the God, is a complex and richly detailed epic fantasy, notable for its intricate plot, philosophical undertones, and strong character development. The series explores themes of power, identity, deception, and the nature of reality.
Aside from the Orokon series, Arden wrote other works, including Shadow Black, a standalone fantasy novel, and Darkmare, a science fiction novel published under the name Daniel Quinn.
