Titwala

Titwala is a town located in the Kalyan taluka of Thane district, in the state of Maharashtra, India. It is part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Titwala is primarily known for the Shree Siddhivinayak Mahaganapati Temple, a popular Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. The temple attracts a large number of devotees, particularly on Angaraki Chaturthi (a Tuesday that falls on the fourth day of the lunar month).

Beyond the temple, Titwala is experiencing growth as a residential area due to its relatively affordable housing compared to other parts of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and its connectivity via the Central Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway. The town also features local markets and basic amenities catering to the needs of its residents and visiting pilgrims.
