Don Goodman (American football)
Don Goodman (born August 28, 1957) is a former American football placekicker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the San Diego Chargers and the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at Memphis State University (now the University of Memphis).
College Career
Goodman was a standout kicker for the Memphis State Tigers, setting several school records during his time there.
Professional Career
Goodman was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the 12th round of the 1980 NFL Draft. He played for the Chargers in 1980 and 1981. In 1981, he made 19 of 29 field goal attempts.
In 1982, he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys. He played one season for the Cowboys in 1982.
