Tiffany Mitchell (basketball)
Tiffany Mitchell (born September 23, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Atlanta Dream in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was drafted ninth overall by the Phoenix Mercury in the 2016 WNBA draft, but was immediately traded to the Indiana Fever.
Mitchell played college basketball for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, where she was a three-time All-American. She helped lead the Gamecocks to their first NCAA National Championship in 2017. During her college career, she earned numerous accolades, including the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award in 2016, which is given to the nation's top shooting guard.
In her WNBA career, Mitchell has been known for her scoring ability and defensive intensity. She has played for the Indiana Fever and the Washington Mystics, before joining the Atlanta Dream. She has also played overseas during the WNBA off-season. Mitchell is recognized for her versatility and contributions to both offense and defense, making her a valuable asset to her teams.
