Thyra (river)

The Thyra is a small river located in the Harz region of Germany. It is a tributary of the Helme river, joining the Helme near the town of Rodishain. The Thyra is relatively short in length, draining a small catchment area characterized by forested hills and agricultural land. The river's course is primarily within the state of Thuringia. It is not a major river but contributes to the larger hydrological system of the Helme and ultimately, the Elbe river basin.
