Thunderball (Melvins album)
Thunderball is a 1993 album by the American rock band Melvins, released on Boner Records. It is considered a companion piece to their album Houdini, released the same year. Thunderball contains five tracks, showcasing the band's characteristic blend of sludge metal, grunge, and experimental rock. The album is notable for its heavy, distorted sound and unorthodox song structures. Several of the tracks, including "Revulsion/We Want the D" and "Going Blind," have become staples of the band's live performances. Dale Crover handles the majority of the vocal duties on this album. The album artwork features a striking and surreal image, typical of many Melvins album covers.
