Yuko gained prominence in the Belgian music scene with their energetic live performances and their blend of indie rock, pop, and electronic influences. They released their debut album, "For Times When You Feel Like You're the Biggest Piece of Shit Ever" in 2011, which was well-received by critics. Their second album, "More Than Physical" followed in 2014.

Yuko officially disbanded in 2016, citing creative differences and a desire to pursue individual projects as the reasons for their split.
