Matthew Johnson (Australian footballer)

Matthew Johnson (born 28 March 2003) is an Australian rules footballer currently playing for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Johnson was drafted by Fremantle with the 21st selection in the 2022 AFL draft. He is a midfielder known for his athleticism, kicking skills, and ability to win contested possessions. He played his junior football for Subiaco in the WAFL.

Johnson made his AFL debut in Round 1 of the 2023 season against St Kilda. He quickly established himself as a regular in the Fremantle side, showcasing his talent and potential.
