Thrill Seekers (film)

Thrill Seekers is a 1999 science fiction action television film directed by David Carson and starring Casper Van Dien, Catherine Bell, and Martin Landau. The film revolves around Tom Merrick (Van Dien), a reporter investigating mysterious disappearances in a small town, who discovers that the victims are being transported to an alternate reality where people live out their ultimate fantasies. However, these fantasies come at a deadly cost, as the lines between reality and illusion blur, and the participants face fatal consequences. The film explores themes of escapism, the dangers of unchecked technology, and the human desire for fulfillment, however misguided. It was initially broadcast on TBS.
