The Doll (band)
The Doll was a Swedish alternative rock band formed in 2002 and disbanded in 2007. Known for their energetic live performances and blend of punk, garage rock, and power pop influences, they gained a following in Scandinavia and parts of Europe. The band consisted of Andreas "Andy" Dahlström (vocals, guitar), Olle Dahlstedt (drums), and Patrik "Pastor" Södergren (bass).
The Doll released two studio albums: The Riot Is On (2005) and Teat Beat of My Heart (2006). The Riot Is On featured catchy, guitar-driven songs and established their reputation for raw energy. Teat Beat of My Heart showed a slight shift towards a more melodic and polished sound while retaining their signature intensity.
While their commercial success remained relatively limited, The Doll built a dedicated fanbase through extensive touring and a reputation for delivering high-octane shows. After their disbandment in 2007, the members pursued other musical projects.
