Testimony (Howard Johnson album)
Testimony is the second studio album by American R&B singer Howard Johnson, released in 1986 on A&M Records. The album features production from various notable producers including Kashif, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, and Rhett Lawrence.
The album spawned several singles, including "Knees" which reached number 3 on the Billboard R&B charts, becoming one of Johnson's most successful hits. Other singles included "Stand Up" and "Addicted to Love," though they did not achieve the same level of chart success as "Knees."
Testimony is considered a solid mid-1980s R&B album, showcasing Johnson's smooth vocals and featuring a blend of upbeat dance tracks and soulful ballads. The album helped to solidify Johnson's position as a prominent figure in the R&B music scene during that period.
