Tenno Dam

The Tenno Dam is a large concrete gravity dam located on the Muma River in Higashikawa, Hokkaido, Japan. It serves primarily for flood control and irrigation, and also provides for municipal water supply. Construction of the dam was completed in 1999. The reservoir created by the dam is known as Lake Tennyo. The surrounding area offers recreational activities such as hiking and camping.
