Technetium(III) iodide

Technetium(III) iodide, also known as technetium triiodide, is an inorganic chemical compound with the formula TCI₃. It is a binary compound consisting of technetium and iodine. It is a relatively unstable compound of technetium, a radioactive transition metal. Information on its physical and chemical properties is somewhat limited due to the challenges associated with handling radioactive materials and its tendency to decompose. It is typically synthesized under anhydrous conditions.
