Tarchomin

Tarchomin is a district of Warsaw, Poland, located in the northern part of the Białołęka district. Historically a village, it was incorporated into Warsaw in 1951.

Tarchomin is primarily a residential area, experiencing significant development in recent decades with the construction of numerous apartment complexes and single-family homes. This expansion is driven by its relatively lower land prices compared to central Warsaw and good transport connections, including tram and bus lines.

Notable features of Tarchomin include the Church of Saint James the Apostle, a historic landmark, and the proximity to the Vistula River. The district offers a mix of urban and suburban characteristics, with areas of dense housing interspersed with green spaces and remnants of its rural past.

The infrastructure in Tarchomin has been steadily improving to accommodate its growing population. This includes the development of schools, shopping centers, and recreational facilities.
