Tailgunner (band)

Tailgunner is a British heavy metal band formed in 2022 in London, England. The band consists of Craig Cairns (vocals), Sam Caldwell and Zach Perry (guitars), Patrick Pattle (bass), and Les Warner (drums).

Tailgunner's musical style is rooted in the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) sound, incorporating elements of power metal and speed metal. They are known for their high-energy performances, twin guitar harmonies, and soaring vocals.

The band released their debut EP, Crash Dive, in 2023, followed by their debut full-length album, Guns For Hire, in 2024. Guns For Hire received generally positive reviews, with critics praising the band's musicianship and commitment to classic heavy metal aesthetics.

Tailgunner has toured extensively in the UK and Europe, supporting acts such as Enforcer and Evil Invaders. They have also performed at several major metal festivals, including Bloodstock Open Air and Muskelrock.
