Suran (singer)

Suran (수란), also known as Elena, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. She is known for her unique vocal style, characterized by a slightly raspy and ethereal quality, and her experimental approach to music, blending elements of R&B, electronic, and pop.

Suran debuted in 2014 as part of the duo Lodia. After the duo disbanded, she embarked on a solo career, releasing her first digital single, "I Feel," in 2014. She gained wider recognition after collaborating with Suga of BTS on the track "Wine" (오늘 취하면) in 2017, which topped major Korean music charts.

Suran's discography includes several EPs, such as Walkin' (2017) and Jumpin' (2019), and numerous singles and collaborations with other artists like Crush, Dean, and Zico. Her music often explores themes of love, loss, and self-reflection. Suran has also contributed to numerous original soundtracks for Korean dramas.
