Superstition (TV series)
Superstition is an American supernatural drama television series that aired on Syfy from October 6, 2017, to January 19, 2018. The series was created by Joel Anderson Thompson, Mario Van Peebles, and Barry Gordon.
The show follows the Hastings family, who own the only funeral home in the mysterious town of La Rochelle, Georgia. They also secretly serve as protectors of the town against dark forces and supernatural entities unleashed by an ancient underground crypt. The family uses their knowledge of occult practices and arcane weaponry to combat these threats and maintain the delicate balance between the living and the dead.
The main cast included Mario Van Peebles, Robinne Lee, Brad James, W. Earl Brown, Diamond Dallas Page, and Demetria McKinney. Mario Van Peebles also served as a director and producer for the series.
Superstition was cancelled after one season consisting of 12 episodes.
