Sunny (singer)

Sunny (born Lee Soon-kyu on May 15, 1989) is a Korean-American singer and entertainer based in South Korea. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, formed by SM Entertainment in 2007.

Sunny debuted as a member of Girls' Generation in August 2007 with the single "Into the New World." Besides her group activities, she has participated in various solo projects, including singing original soundtracks for television dramas and films. She has contributed to OSTs for dramas such as "Working Mom," "Story of Wine," and "Oh! My Lady."

Beyond singing, Sunny has been active in television and radio. She has hosted and appeared on a number of variety shows and radio programs. Notably, she was a regular host of the radio program FM Date and has participated in shows such as Invincible Youth and Roommate. She has also lent her voice to the Korean dub of animated films.

In 2023, Sunny left SM Entertainment after 16 years with the agency. She announced the establishment of her own agency, Allem Company, in 2024.
