Sung Kang

Sung Kang (born April 8, 1972) is an American actor of South Korean descent. He is best known for his portrayal of Han Lue in the Fast & Furious franchise.

Kang began his acting career in the late 1990s, appearing in television shows like Felicity and NYPD Blue. His breakthrough role came in the independent film Better Luck Tomorrow (2002), directed by Justin Lin, where he played Han Hu.

He gained wider recognition for reprising the role of Han Lue in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (2006). He has since appeared in several subsequent Fast & Furious films, including Fast & Furious (2009), Fast Five (2011), Fast & Furious 6 (2013), F9 (2021), and Fast X (2023). The popularity of his character, Han, led to the #JusticeForHan social media movement calling for his resurrection after his apparent death.

Beyond the Fast & Furious franchise, Kang has appeared in films such as War (2007), Live Free or Die Hard (2007), and Bullet to the Head (2012). He has also worked on television, with roles in series like Power, Magnum P.I., and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
