Street of Shadows (1953 film)

Street of Shadows is a 1953 British crime drama film directed by Richard Vernon and starring Cesar Romero, Kay Kendall, and Edward Underdown. The film is also known under the alternate title Shadow Man.

The plot revolves around a struggling American writer, Rick Nelson (Cesar Romero), living in post-war London. He gets mixed up with a gang of smugglers when he tries to help a young woman, Barbara Gale (Kay Kendall), who is in trouble with them. The film follows Nelson as he navigates the criminal underworld, trying to protect Barbara and clear his own name after becoming a suspect in a murder. The storyline features elements of suspense and film noir.
