Steve Torpey (footballer, born 1970)

Steve Torpey (born 19 September 1970) is an English former professional footballer. A striker, he played in the Football League for York City, Scarborough, and Halifax Town.

Torpey began his career as a youth player at Manchester City, but did not make a first-team appearance. He joined York City in 1991 and made over 100 league appearances for the club.
