Stefan Mitrović (water polo)

Stefan Mitrović (born March 29, 1988) is a Serbian water polo player. He is a left-handed attacker.

Mitrović was a member of the Serbia men's national water polo team that won the gold medal at the 2012 European Championship in Eindhoven, the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, the 2014 European Championship in Budapest, the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, the 2016 European Championship in Belgrade, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He also won a bronze medal at the 2008 European Championship in Malaga and a silver medal at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships in Shanghai. He added another gold medal at the 2018 European Championship in Barcelona. He was also part of the team that won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Mitrović has played for various clubs throughout his career, including VK Partizan, VK Radnički Kragujevac, and Szolnoki VSK. He is known for his powerful shooting and tactical awareness.
